DERMAPLANING

Dermaplaning/Epi-blading is a method of skin rejuvenation that gently removes the skins epidermis (dead skin cells, dirt and oil) as well as fine hairs (peach fuzz). This will then allow the skin to absorb topical products on a deeper level, leaving the skin looking radiant and feeling as smooth as your skin can feel!

A tapered scalpel blade is used to gently shave the surface of the skin, resulting in skin that’s completely smooth and free of any peach fuzz.

Because the blade is tapered, you don’t have to worry about your hair growing back coarse. Any hairs that are removed will grow back at the same rate (sometimes even slower) and with the same thickness as before.

Dermaplaning is a better option for clients with blonde facial hair that isn’t suitable for IPL hair reduction. It is perfect before any event as your make-up just glides onto the skin and leaves it glowing. As this treatment doesn’t use chemicals, it is an ideal option for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
